The Thomas Jefferson Memorial has a statue of third president of the US which stands about 19 feet. It also houses several excerpts from the Declaration of Independence along with his other prestigious writings. The entire monument comes in a circular-shaped dome with a total of 54 columns made of ion to serve as its foundation.
