For the military technology buff, several military hardware is on display at the Air Force Armament Museum at the Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. Founded in 1975, this is the only museum in the United States that dedicated to collection and preservation of Air Force hardware and memorabilia.

Visitors can look around and check the museum?s displays that include old and new military aircrafts, weapons, bombs, and other devices. Guests can check out the B-17 bomber used during World War II. The Lockheed SR-71A, or famously known as Blackbird, is also on display together with A-10 Thunderbolt II for a dose of Cold War-era aircrafts.

Various bombs, rockets, and missiles are on display such as GBU-28 bunker buster and the infamous ?mother of all bombs?, or MOAB (Massive Ordnance Airblast Bomb), the world?s largest conventional bomb. The museum is open for public tours and entry is fee.
