The Air Force Space Missile Museum strives in preserving the spirit of our country?s venture into space. The museum holds numerous missiles, rockets and related space apparatus. Collecting, restoring and showing items of historic significance which relates to the diverse heritage of U.S. Air Force space launch movements.

From the 1950?s the museum still continues to be a major participant in the country?s space programs and emphasizes activities at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The museum has started to provide the public a glimpse to the history of rocketry and space flight since 1966. Different exhibits and historical information are displayed for each launch complex at the museum for the public to learn more about the diverse technology of rocketry.

Admission to the Air Force Space & Missile Museum is absolutely for free and is open for bus tours, field trips and even for walk-ins. Souvenirs are also available in their gift shop. Your family can enjoy a picnic on their shaded picnic are just outside the History Center door.
