The Avalon State Park is a state park in Fort Pierce, Florida. It is best noted for having more than a mile worth of increasingly undeveloped beachfront, offering what nature has best to offer.

Also home to several threatened and endangered wildlife, the Avalon State Park is truly an excellent place to go to if you’re looking to having a great commune with nature. It has beautiful, white sand beaches that are perfect for snorkelers, swimmers, fishermen, and even sunbathers. Swimmers and snorkelers are warned, however, of the possible existence of underwater obstacles that may still be around from the World War II. You can also enjoy kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and picnicking at the site.

The best thing about the Avalon State Park is that they are located near several other recreation sites so you can really get a lot from your trip here.
