The Baker Block Museum is a local history museum in Baker, Florida. It is actually a historic complex, composed of several historic structures recovered from all over the Baker area.

Opened in 1996, the Baker Block Museum offers a good deal of local history. Housed in a 1908 turpentine & timber mercantile store building, the museum features several historic items like Native American artifacts, pioneer household materials, and some military objects. On the grounds of the museum, you’ll also find a 1870s Hewed log cabin, General Store, and a turn of the century post office. There are also genealogy research materials like important documents, photos, maps, and other papers.

There are tons to see while at the Baker Block Museum. Some suggest that you allot a whole day to spend in the site as it may take a while to absorb every display and exhibit available.
