The Beaches Museum & History Center is a local history museum in Jacksonville, Florida. It is one of the few museums that was designed to record and chronicle the history and culture of the First Coast beach communities including Palm Valley, Neptune Beach, Ponte Vedra Beach, Mayport, Atlantic Beach, and Jacksonville Beach.

Founded in 1978 by the Beaches Area Historical Society, the Beaches Museum & History Center was originally a research facility for local history. However, it soon grew as a museum through donations by local citizens who started donating cherished family pieces. One of its greatest displays, the 28-ton 1911 steam locomotive, was received in 1996.

Today, the Beaches Museum & History Center is one of the top resources when it comes to learning about local heritage and history.
