The Black Heritage Museum is a history museum in Middleburg, Florida. It is focused on the history of the African Americans and other Blacks in the state.

It is no secret that the state of Florida is culturally diverse, having almost every race and culture having representatives in the area. This is why it is not surprising that sites like the Black Heritage Museum are plenty around, since they celebrate this culturally rich land. Aiming to promote racial harmony through the encouragement of multi-racial awareness, the museum was created to showcase the history of the Black population. It also works to provide the community with a positive look at the Black heritage through various displays, literature, and lectures.

The Black Heritage Museum is only open by appointment, so make sure to arrange a schedule if you’re interested in visiting.
