The Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park is a historic site and state park in Ormond Beach, Florida. It features the historic Bulow Plantation Ruins.
The Bulow Plantation traces its roots back to the early 1800s. It was established in 1821 and grew indigo, cotton, sugar cane, and rice. It was destroyed in 1836 during the Second Seminole War. Today, only the ruins of the plantation house, sugar mill, spring house, wells, and slave cabins remain in what was once a thriving plantation.
When visiting the Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic Site, visitors can enjoy a number of activities like picnicking, hiking, and wildlife viewing among many others. There are also several interpretive signs that tell of the area?s colorful past and history.
