The Constitution Convention Museum State Park is a state Park in Port St. Joe, Florida. It commemorates the area?s history and its large role in the development of the Florida that is known today.

Back in 1835, the there was an early settlement in the area known as St. Joseph, was a boomtown. It was so big that it competed with Apalachicola as a trading port and won over Tallahassee in being the venue for the first Florida State Constitution Convention. This part of local history is demonstrated and chronicled at the Constitution Convention Museum State Park. In its 12 acres, the site is filled with examples of the 19th century life in the former town. There is also a recreated scene of the state?s first Constitutional Convention, completed with life sized figures with audio presentations.
