The Depot Museum is a local history museum in Avon Park, Florida. It is focused on the rich culture and heritage of the ?City of Charm?.

Many would think that the Depot Museum is a railroading history museum for its name. However, this is not exactly the case, as it features mainly the general history of the Avon Park area. It was only named as such because it is housed in the restored Seaboard Coastline Depot which opened in 1926.

The Depot Museum opened in 1981. It features several displays, ranging from local curiosities to the 1948 California zephyr dining car, which also serves luncheons for groups of 15-40 people. The site is open on Wednesdays through Fridays from 10 am to 3 pm.
