The Disney Hollywood Studios is a theme park in Bay Lake, Florida, located inside the Walt Disney World Resort. Like many of its neighboring Disney theme parks, it is commonly mistaken to be located somewhere other than Bay Lake, although, technically, they are inside the territory of the said city.

Opened in 1989, the Disney Hollywood Studios follows an old Hollywood glamour theme. It is based on show business, as inspired by Hollywood’s peak time during the 1930s and 1940s.

Originally called the Disney-MGM Studios, the Disney Hollywood Studios offer a wide range of attractions. However, the top highlights of the site have always been its live performances and entertainment. It also home to several annual events like the ESPN The Weekend and the Star Wars Weekend.
