The Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing is a racing museum in Ocala, Florida. It is quite a ?shrine? and revamped ?garage? for the famous dragster Don Garlits, also known as ?Big Daddy? and ?Swamp Rat?.

The Don Garlits Museum features almost every car that Garlits has driven. However, it also exhibits a number of other cars and memorabilia that are from other top names in drag racing. The site also chronicles the history of drag racing as a sport in general.

Aside from the cars, the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing also tells of the life and story of Don Garlits and how awesome he is. On your visit there, you may even encounter Garlits himself there, especially since he lives just next door.
