The Egmont Key Light is a historic lighthouse in Egmont Key in Palmetto, Florida. It traces its roots back to 1858 when it was completed. It is best known for being the oldest structure of any sort in the Tampa Bay area.

The Egmont Key Light has been around since 1848. It has faced several challenges and threats of destruction during its early years, but it was rebuilt and even moved to further keep it safe and intact. It was quite important to have a structure of such sort in the area, all thanks to its strategic position.

The Egmont Key Light is still used as a lighthouse today. It is currently a part of the Egmont Key State Park and is available for tours.
