The Eustis Historical Museum provides its residents and other visitors a fascinating place for learning about the area?s history. Through the Museum?s collections, visitors will get to learn about local history, including the formation and development of the City of Eustis. For people who want to trace their family histories, the Museum also enables them to do so with its genealogical records and photographs from the past generations.

The Eustis Historical Museum occupies a building that used to be the residence of early settler, G.D. Clifford. Clifford worked as a merchandiser who became a significant part of the city?s development and growth.

The Eustis Historical Museum & Preservation Society, Inc. is in charge of the Museum?s operations. They also use the Museum as a meeting place every fourth Thursday of the month. In meetings, there are also invited guest speakers who deliver presentations that cover general or historical interests. People who would like to join or apply as members are always welcome.
The Clifford House was placed on National Register of Historical Places in 1975.
