The Florida Citrus Tower is a famous landmark in Clermont, Florida. It was once noted for being the most popular landmark in the Orlando area, but with the continuous sprouting of new attractions in the area, it faded out to the background.

Built in 1956, the Florida Citrus Tower was actually constructed to serve as a platform to visitors who would want to see the miles of orange groves that grow around the area. Today, it only provides view to the sprawling suburban neighborhoods that replaced the orange groves of the past. It measures 226 feet tall and at 500 feet above sea level, it still manages to be the highest observation point in the state.

The Florida Citrus Tower is open daily from 8 am to 5 pm.
