The Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail is a 16 mile nature trail from Gainesville to Hawthorne in the state of Florida.

The 16 mile trail is designed to accommodate different kinds of visitor traffic including hikers, cyclists, and horseback riders. There are three trail heads or access points where a parking area is available and these are located in Gainesville and Hawthorne. People entering the trail from Hawthorne should look for the signs posted on US 301 and CR 2082 while those from Gainesville should go to Boulware Springs City Park.

The Gainesville-Hawthorne trail is and accessible way for local residents and visitors to get fresh air and exercise without the need to travel far from their area. A self-guided tour is available with aids from the kiosks or cell phone tour stops posted along the trail.
