The Gillespie Museum is a science museum in DeLand, Florida. It is best known for being the home of one of the largest gem and mineral collections in the southeast.

Also commonly referred to as the Gillespie Museum of Minerals, the Gillespie Museum is the Stetson University’s Earth science museum. It showcases a collection that is composed of around 20,000 minerals and rocks. It is also home to one of the oldest and largest fossil specimens in the region.

Aside from these, the Gillespie Museum also features displays about geology, mining, and native Florida ecosystems. It is also noted for being home to some of the most historically significant collections of geologic materials in the South.

The Gillespie Museum is open during the regular school season, as its mostly staffed with students
