GWIZ The Hands-On Science Museum is a science museum in Sarasota, Florida. It aims to serve as a “gateway for lifelong adventures in science”.

Established in 1990 as the Gulf Coast World of Science, GWIZ or Gulfcoast Wonder & Imagination Zone has really gone through a lot during the past two decades. From being a small museum with only ten hands-on exhibits, it has now developed into a sizable science venue with 6000 square feet of exhibit space.

It is also now a part of the Association of Science and Technology Centers.
GWIZ the Hands-On Science Museum features several science exhibits that cover different areas of sciences. Most of the exhibits are designed to be kid friendly and fun, making the site a top family destination.
