The Halifax Historical Museum is a local history museum in Daytona Beach, Florida. It features a wide range of displays that tell of the colorful past of the Halifax River area.

Founded in 1986, there are tons of things that you can find in your visit at the Halifax Historical Museum. It traces the rich history of the city’s original riverfront commercial district, from its early days as the home of Timucuan Indians in 5000 BC to the present day. It features several themed exhibit rooms, including the Racing Zone, which is about the racing scene of the city, the War Zone, which features World Wars I & II in the locale. There’s also the Grandma’s attic which features vintage clothing and toys that kids could find interesting.

Housed in a 1010 Merchant’s Bank Building, the Historical Museum is also worth a visit for its excellent architecture and the structure’s history as well.
