The Hamilton County Historical Museum is a local history museum in Jasper, Florida. Like many local and county museums in the United States, it offers several displays and exhibits about the area?s past and local traditions.

The Hamilton County Historical Museum is housed in Hamilton?s Old County Jail. The structure was built in 1893 and has been in use as a jail for more than a century. It served as a prison house and the home for the Sheriff and his family from its inception and until the department moved to another facility in the mid 1980s. The building is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

One of the top highlights of the Hamilton County Historical Museum is its range of titles that are about local history. These publications are available on the site for sale.
