The Heritage Village is a living history complex in Largo, Florida. It is best known for its excellent offers that truly tell of the area’s history and heritage.

The Heritage Village features 21 acres worth of history. It was designed as a recreation of a Florida pioneer village, outfitted with more than 25 historic structures, with one dating as far back as 1852. Here you can find an old railroad depot with a caboose, a church, smokehouse, general store, and residential homes. There’s also a reproduction of a one-room schoolhouse that were abundant back in the time and a house that was patterned after the Henry Plant’s foreman’s home. Being a living history museum, the Heritage Village also offers demonstrations from its well versed costumed interpreters.

The site is open for free, although donations are very much welcomed.
