Hontoon Island State Park is an island located at the St. Johns River in Deland, Florida. It is accessible by private boat or the state park ferry which operates from 8:00 am to an hour before sunset daily.

As an island, most of the activities in the Hontoon Island State Park are water related. Boating, canoeing, and fishing are among the favored activities by visitors to the park. There is also a park playground and picnic areas equipped with grills and tables.

Overnight boat slip rentals and canoe rentals are available to park visitors. The visitor center includes an exhibit on the inhabitants and archaeological artifacts on the island. A three mile hiking trail leads to a large Indian mound on the island.
