The Jacksonville Jazz Festival is known to be the second in the biggest jazz festivals ever held in the country. It happens during one full weekend and right at the heart of the downtown part of Jacksville. Part of all the fun that transpires during the event include the competition of the Great American Jazz Piano. It also has the art shows called the Art in the Heart and the wine tasting activity.

The names of the previous artists who became a part of this festival include Boney James, George Benson, Miles Davis, Diana Krall, Chris Botti, Kenny G and even the very humorous Harry Connick Jr. This is a one of a kind event that should not be missed by any music enthusiast especially the jazz fans.
