The Kapok Tree Inn is a well established tourist attraction in Clearwater, Florida. It is basically a garden, named after the old establishment that used to run the place.

The Kapok Tree Inn opened in 1957 as a restaurant. It was named after the large kapok tree that was in the site, which has already been attracting visitors even before the restaurant has opened. These trees were planted on the site in the 19th century, from specimens imported from India.

Although the restaurant has already closed down since 1991, visitors still continue to flock to the area to see the magnificent trees. The garden is also decorated with several statues, making the site more majestic and ancient with that historic kind of feel.
