The Kennedy Space Center is part of a massive space center complex that also houses the space shuttles in Florida. The center is a tourist destination for people who would like to learn more about the space exploration and the technology behind it.

The general admission tickets for the tour of Kennedy Space Center will include various activities for visitors such as a simulation of an actual space shuttle launch which includes videos and testimonials from the brave men and women who have made it outside of our planet.

The KSC also has interesting tours for visitors to take such as the special guided tours via bus that will carry passengers across the compound and into one on the many space shuttle launch pads used for deploying men and women to outer space as well as Observation Gantry and the Saturn V Center. Admission for this specialized tour is $21 for adults and $15 for children. The free tour meanwhile leaves the visitor complex every 15 minutes and visits the L9 Observation Gantry and will end once it reaches the Apollo Center within the complex.

There are several screening areas for visitors within the Kennedy Space Center including a theatre where they constantly play the Explorers Wanted which delves into the world of space exploration as well as the future for the various programs. Visitors can also catch IMAX space films in another theatre for an additional fee. Tourists will also have the chance to meet and greet astronauts walking around the Space Center. Fans of astronauts can also have lunch with famous celebrity astronauts and ask them questions while enjoying a wonderful lunch in the historic Orbit Caf? or take a walk with them around the United States Astronauts Hall of Fame.

The KSC also offers the ATX or Astronaut Training Experience for larger groups who would like get a feel of what it is like during an astronaut?s training.
