Featuring terrain reminiscent of the Great Plains of the Midwest, the Kissimmee Prairie Preserve Park is a unique recreational area and wildlife preserve in the state of Florida.

The Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park is located on a dry prairie which is uncommon in the state of Florida. The preserve houses and protects several endangered plant and animal species that no longer exist outside of the preserve or live in very few numbers.

Visitors to the site immediately see the difference in geography and ecology of the park starting from their five mile drive into the preserve. Park rangers have tours that lead into some of the more remote areas of the park.
