Lake Griffin State Park in Fruitland Park, Florida is a state recreation area situated within an hour of the state?s largest theme parks and attractions.

Famous for having oak trees that are the largest in the state, Lake Griffin is also a healthy fishing ground for fresh water anglers. Fishing in the area will yield plenty of different catches ranging from largemouth bass, bluegill, catfish, speckled perch, and others. Anglers may fish from the shores of the lake or from boats.
