The Lake Louisa State Park is a state recreational park located in the six lake water system of the Palatlakaha River system which is designated as an Outstanding Florida Waterway.

The most accessible lakes in the park are Lake Louisa, Hammond Lake, and Dixie lake which are open to fishing and boat use. However, anglers must be aware that only boats without motors and those that only use trolling motors are allowed as gasoline powered boats are prohibited in the lakes. ]
Other than waterway activities centered at the lakes, the park offers over twenty miles of diverse hiking paths and several camping and picnic facilities such as a full-facility campground, cabins, and camp sites. There is also a fishing pier located near a picnic area.
