The Mary McLeod Bethune Home is a historic house in Daytona Beach, Florida. It is best known for being the home of Mary McLeod Bethune, who is a well noted and celebrated civil rights leader and educator.

Built in 1925, the Mary McLeod Bethune Home has always been the home of Bethune. Here, she established the Bethune-Cookman Institute, which was later known as the Bethune-Cookman College. Being well known for her work in educating African American children, Bethune served as the school’s first president.

The Mary McLeod Bethune Home was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 and was declared a National Historic Landmark on the same day of its listing. The site is now operated as a museum.
