The Merrill House Museum is a historic house museum in Jacksonville, Florida. It is best noted for being the ?largest and most architecturally interesting? of all the historic houses in the city of Jacksonville that are also from the time when this one was built.

Built in 1886, the Merrill House Museum was originally the home of the Merrill family. It was constructed by James E. Merrill who established a small iron works business in the city, which soon grew to be one of the largest shipbuilding companies in all of the South (as the Merrill-Stevens Engineering Co.). The house was built in the Queen Anne style and was originally located just a short walk away from James? office.

Today, the Merrill House Museum tells of the life of the life and times of the Merrill family during the late 1800s and early 1900s.
