The Military Heritage & Aviation Museum is a military museum located in Punta Gorda, Florida. Like many other military museums in the country, it aims to honor and preserve the United State?s armed forces? heritage and contributions. It also aims to recognize the great servicemen who risked and dedicated their lives in the protection of their land.

The Military Heritage & Aviation Museum presents a wide range of informational exhibits that tackle the history of the armed forces? service to the country. They have displays that date back to the Spanish American War onwards. Most of the items on display are donated by Veterans. All of the docents and museum volunteers are vets as well.

The Military Heritage & Aviation Museum is open all week long until the late afternoon or early evening. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.
