The Morningside Nature Center is a nature center and living farm in Gainesville, Florida. It is considered as the city?s premier nature center and is noted for being ?one of the last remaining examples of fire-dependent longleaf pine woodlands? in the locale.

The Morningside Nature Center features a series of attractions, making it quite a popular place to be visited. It has seven miles of nature trails that traverse through cypress domes, flatwoods, and sandhills. Its 278 acres also presents access to wildliflower display and a diverse wildlife.

Aside from these, the Morningside Nature Center is also home to a Living History Farm that depicts rural farm life in the 1870. It tells of the tale of the McCarrolls, an Irish immigrant family who are best known for building the Hogan Cabin.
