The Mote Aquarium is a zoological park in Sarasota, Florida. It is a part of the Mote Marine Laboratory, which is a marine research and educational facility founded in 1955. It is one of the few remaining private marine research laboratories in the world.

The Mote Aquarium is located in a 10.5-acre campus of the Mote Marine Laboratory. This means that aside from the aquariums featuring several marine creatures, visitors can also view high tech and interactive exhibits that tell of the research of the facility and actually see a few viewable labs while the scientists are at work.

The Mote Aquarium presents several marine life like sharks, dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles just to name a few. Visitors can view them through touch pools.
