The Museum of Discovery and Science is a science museum in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It is best known for being one of the largest venues of the sort in the state.

The Museum of Discovery and Science commonly describes themselves as an interactive learning center. This is all thanks to their over 200 interactive exhibits that range from live sharks to an inertia demonstration using a “cyclone chair”. They also have an AutoNation IMAX theatre that shows #D IMAX films regularly. If you want something more exciting, they also offer simulations like a simulated ride to Mars and a virtual airboat ride through the Everglades.

Originally founded in 1976 as the Discovery Center, the Museum of Discovery and Science welcomes up to 400,000 visitors yearly.
