The Museum of Fine Arts is an arts museum in St. Petersburg, Florida. It is best known for having the only comprehensive art collection that extends from antiquity to present day in all of the west coast of Florida.

Founded in 1965 by Margaret Acheson Stuart, the Museum of Fine Arts boasts of about five thousand objects and art works. Its collection includes several important pieces made by world class artists like Monet, Rodin, Renoir, Gaugin, O’Keeffe, Bellows, Bourdelle, Hassam, and Rodin. Its building was recently expanded, adding a new wing that more than doubled the size of the original structure. IT was finished in 2008 and houses a new café, library, and the museum shop.

The Museum of Fine Arts is open on Tuesdays through Sundays until 5 in the afternoon.
