The Museum of the Islands is a local history museum in Pine Island Center, Florida. It tells of the interesting past and history of the Pine Island, which has always been a relatively remote location until recently.

The Pine Island area has always been a quiet and off-the-beaten track locale in Southwest Florida. It was only accessible through boats for the longest time, providing residents and few tourists and visitors some peace and quiet, despite being in the state of Florida. This helped shape the history of the area, which the museum started to document in the late 1980s.

Housed in what was once the island’s first and only public library, the Museum of the Islands now feature several displays that tell of the interesting past of the area.
