Featuring 2.5 miles of Atlantic beach, the North Peninsula State Park is a popular location for swimming, sunbathing, shelling, surfing, and surf fishing.

The park?s bike path runs along state road A1A and provides opportunities to spot several rare and endangered species that call the park home. The Coastal Strand trail is a two mile foot trail available to hikers with a magnificent view of the ocean and the surrounding geographic features of the north peninsula coast.

The picnic area in the park is available at Smith Creek Landing, which conveniently is also the location of the park?s restroom facilities. It is also near the beach so you will never be too far from beach activities. Potential surfers must bring their own equipment.
