The Old Courthouse Heritage Museum is a local history museum in Inverness, Florida. It features various displays that are about the area’s heritage and colorful past.

The Old Courthouse Heritage Museum is named after its home, the historic Old Citrus County Courthouse. Built in 1912, the structure is a historic structure, listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its architectural and historic significance. Some scenes of the movie “Follow That Dream: Elvis Rocks the Beach!” was filmed in the second floor courtroom. The museum took residence in the building starting the year 2000 under the care of the Citrus County Historical Society.

The Old Courthouse Heritage Museum features several displays that tackle different points in Citrus County’s history. It is open on Mondays through Fridays from 10 am to 4 pm.
