The Old Florida Museum is a history museum in St. Augustine, Florida. It is also commonly known as the Fort Menendez at Old Florida Museum.

The Old Florida Museum is basically a hands-on, living history museum, presenting the facts about the state’s colorful past in a very entertaining way. There are actually tons of things to see, explore, and touch while at the site that you won’t feel like you’re in a “museum” at all. You can meet numerous costumed docents who will encourage you to try out various tools, weapons, and even musical instruments that are fashioned after period items. Here, you will also learn a couple of things about the Pioneer settlement in the state, which is truly informative.

The Old Florida Museum is open seven days a week from 9 am to 5 pm.
