The Orman House is a historic house museum in Apalachicola, Florida. It is currently located inside a state park known as the Orman House Historic State Park.

The Orman House traces its roots back to 1838, when the house was built for Thomas Orman and family. The property is located atop of a bluff that overlooks the docks of Apalachicola. It was designed that way so Orman could easily look out to the Apalachicola River where his shipping business is.
Like many homes for the affluent in the 1800s, the Orman House became known to locals for being a showplace. It hosted numerous parties and grand balls.

Today, the Orman House welcomes visitors from all over to take a peek at how the rich lived their lives back at the time.
