The Osceola County Stadium is a sports stadium in Kissimmee, Florida. It is best known for being the Spring Training home of the Houston Astros.
Built in 1984 to house the Astros, the Osceola County Stadium has always been a noted baseball stadium in the state. Every year, the stadium serves as the training home of the major league baseball team when they relocate from Cocoa Beach to Kissimmee. This provides an opportunity to both locals and tourists to experience a live Major League Baseball up-close every February to early April annually.
Aside from serving the Astros, the Osceola County Stadium also hosts other events as well. It hosted several big baseball events, ranging from the Little League to the Junior League. Currently, it is also home to the Jim Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring.
