Its very location, the former Barberville Central High School, is quite historic as well, being built in 1919 and serving the locale for the first half of the 20th century.

At the Pioneer Settlement for the Creative Arts, you can find historic structures like the 1920 Potter Shed, 1885 Pierson Railroad Depot, 1910 Pastime touring boat, 1885 Huntington Post Office, 1875 Lewis Log Cabin, and the circa 1890 Midway United Methodist Church, just to name a few.
