The Polk Museum of Art is an art museum in Lakeland, Florida. It is best noted for being one of the top ten art museums in the state.

Nationally accredited and is a member of the Florida Association of Museums, the Polk Museum of Art started out as the Imperial Youth Museum in 1966. It was formed by the Junior Welfare League and was renamed in 1969 as the Polk Public Museum. Its current shape only started to form in the 1980s, right around the time when its building was under works.

The Polk Museum of Art features a wide range of displays from pre-Columbian artifacts to modern art like photography and other interesting works by well known artists. They are open mostly on Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm.
