The Ponce de Leon Springs State Park is a state recreational area in Ponce de Leon, Florida. It is named after Juan Ponce de Leon, a legendary Spanish explorer rumored to have searched the state of Florida for the Fountain of Youth.

The main attraction in the Ponce de Leon Springs State Park is of course it?s clear fresh water springs. The springs are popular not only for their physical look, but also for its surprisingly constant water temperature. The waters of the Ponce de Leon Springs are measured at a constant 68 degrees Fahrenheit all year round. The springs in the Ponce de Leon Springs State Park is actually a convergence of two underground water systems that produce over 14 million gallons of water per day.

Aside from swimming in the springs, other activities are also available in the park including hiking, picnicking, fishing, and wildlife viewing.
