The Potter?s Wax Museum is an interesting attraction in St. Augustine, Florida. It follows suit to the city?s tradition of having many firsts, as this location is also said to be the first wax museum in the entire United States.

Established in 1948 by George L. Potter, the Potter?s Wax Museum is more than just a place to see wax versions of historic figures and famous celebrities. It is also coupled with history and is also believed to be the inspiration of the 1953 classic film, ?House of Wax?. It also has a theater and a wax studio.

The Potter?s Wax Museum, however, has a number of downsides. One is that it is quite small, but if you can look past that, it wouldn?t be a problem at all. Its entrance fee is also something that bothers others, so if you?re not up to shelling out some bucks, it?s okay since it is located in St. Augustine?s downtown area.
