The Railroad Museum of South Florida is a railroading history museum in Fort Myers, Florida. It is designed to ?preserve the past, present and future heritage of the railroads of America?, with a specific focus on the Florida East Coast, the Seaboard Air Line, and the Atlantic Coast Line.

The Railroad Museum of South Florida offers 3200 square foot of train haven inside Lakes Park. It presents several live steam scale locomotives, rail tracks, and rolling stock. Folks can also take photos with one of the retired locomotives or even ride the largest miniature railroad in Florida. Educational videos are also regularly played in the museum?s mini-theater.

The Railroad Museum of South Florida is open all week long on varying schedules. They also host special events during some holidays, so make sure to check those schedules as well.
