Rainbow Springs State Park is a popular natural waterway state recreation center in Dunnellon, Florida. It is centered on the Rainbow Springs which is the source of the Rainbow River.

Classified as a First magnitude spring because of its strong water flow, which reaches up to 600,000,000 US gallons of fresh water per day, that forms the Rainbow River, the Rainbow Springs is a multiple vent fresh water spring that is the center point of the Rainbow Springs State Park. Many of the activities in the state park are centered around the waters of the springs and the Rainbow River itself.

The park is extremely popular in the weekends, so much so that the park administration recommends that visitors come earlier than 10:00 am or to avoid coming on weekends for a much more relaxed visit.
