The Ravine Gardens State Park is a one-hundred and thirty-seven acre state recreational facility and natural preserve. It also contains about five acres of formal gardens that play host to a multitude of activities.

Known for its impressive collection of natural native Florida vegetation, the Ravine Garden State Park is a popular location for environmental education and garden activities such as weddings. The gardens in the park are filled with color during the prime bloom season between January and April. Thousands of azaleas, camellias, dogwoods, and Chickasaw plums, some of which were planted during the park?s construction by the Works Progress Administration, are visible during their peak season.

Other activities in the park include picnicking, jogging, hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing. The park is also part of the annual Florida Azalea Festival in March.
