Located in Sanford, Florida, the Seminole County Public Schools Student Museum is a local student museum focused on local and regional history.
The Seminole County Public Schools Student Museum is operated by the county public schools district and is targeted toward educating the local students on a variety of subjects including geography, native American history, pioneer living, antiques and local history. Located in one of the oldest continuously used school building in the state of Florida, the Sanford Grammar School which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, it features a unique environment for the presentation of historic artifacts and lessons.
Because of the museums focus on local student groups public access to the museum is limited to specific afternoons during the week.
