Shell Factory is a tourist destination and a shopping center in Fort Myers, Florida. It is best known for many different things, as it offers a whole lot.

Originally a small business owned and operated by a couple, the Shell Factory grew from being something operated in the front porch in 1952 to a full blown destination. It is home to several destinations, including the 7000 square foot Rainforest Aviary and the Johnson, Jones and Masters Natural History Museum (which is the largest free private exhibit of its sort in the country). It also has a petting zoo and botanical gardens on site.

Of course, the Shell Factory still remains as a place where you can get shells and items made from shells, as its name suggests.
